Hi, I’m Brennen! I’m a CPA and technology enthusiast searching for novel ways to combine my accounting and software development experience. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from San Francisco State University, a Master’s Degree in Accounting (emphasis in taxation) from California Polytechnic State University, and a software development credential from Foothill College. I’ve also completed several MOOCs like University of Helsinki's Full-Stack Open. In addition to professional development stuff, I enjoy running and fitness, playing music (mostly drumming), and martial arts.
About this Site
For now this site is somewhere for me to rapidly post whatever accounting/tech things I am working on or thinking about, and the content here will relate to a combination of accounting and technology in some way. That’s really the only requirement. Some articles will feature one-off Python scripts, while others might report progress and challenges encountered in developing larger projects. I produce this content in my spare time and can’t commit to a regular schedule, but will do my best to keep long gaps to a mimimum. This is first and forefost a personal website, and nothing posted here constitutes professional advice or anyone's opinion but my own.
